Wood? Sure. Paper? Okay. But fur? This is something we had not ever seen before this season. New for fall 2011 are these otherworldly, mink finished frames by French icons Givenchy. These are all coming out of Givenchy’s fur accessories line which yielded a series of backpacks so far.

Done in a somewhat retro cut, we still can’t see you taking these out at your next board meeting. But on the golf course, or front row at fashion week, these crazy things may just work. I can’t believe Linda Farrow didn’t get to this idea first. Available this fall.
