Raen Optics “Squire”

Raen Optics of California, have been on the scene, making classically inspired active frames for their go getter clietele since 2006. With their latest offering, called The Squire, we see an undeniable nod towards their 1950s leanings. In fact, the Squire is supposedly inspired by the frames worn by James Dean during his short career.

Made from Mazzucchelli Zyl Acetate, the Squire has some striking design elements, such as exaggerated horns and a notched keyhole bridge. In a rich colour scheme, these brown and honey specs are quickly gaining legendary status. Available online.
