Vinylize: Eyewear Made From Recycled Records

One of the more interesting eyewear concepts we’ve seen in awhile, Vinylize produces handmade optical frames by recycling old vinyl records. Handmade in Hungary, the frames are made from a combination of vintage vinyl, as well as a biodegradable acetate additive to strengthen the designs. An interesting concept, it remains to be seen what kind of quality one can actually get out of recycled records, but nonetheless, it’s a noble effort.
