Oliver Peoples and Ryuichi Sakamoto for moreTrees Eyewear Collection

Musician Ryuichi Sakamoto has tapped Oliver Peoples to create some beautiful limited edition eyewear to support to foundation, moreTrees. The mandate of moreTrees is to plant more trees around the world to avoid the depletion of natural resources and the subsequent consequences. Featuring three designs, the frames are made from a mix of Japanese cedar, timber and a “bio plastic” produced in an environmentally friendly way. The frames are handmade in Sabae and Fukui,Japan, and are limited to 100 pairs per design. You can pick up a pair at Oliver People’s Tokyo shop now.
