U.K.-based Cubitt has come to market with a more cost-effective way of getting stylish eyewear; streamlining their production process to reduce the cost by almost a third of traditional market offerings.
Their latest frame is the “Ampton”, named after Ampton Street in London. Made from a single piece of Italian acetate, the Ampton is fitted with lenses made from durable CR39 plastic, and offer anti-glare and anti-scratch coatings. The Ampton is available at Cubitts in black, dark turtle, light turtle and amber for £100 GBP (approximately $165 USD).
