Australia’s Colab eyewear have an interesting concept. With no in-house molds, the manufacturers align themselves with up and coming artists on collaborated design ideas. Their goal, is to allow the designer as much freedom as possible and Colab makes every attempt to adhere to the original specs.
This latest issue form Colab, comes in conjunction with Timba Smits. Called the “X-Ray” glasses, the retro acetate style features printed skeletal images, laser etched on the inside of the frame. With the outers being relatively conservative, we appreciate a bit of humour embedded in behind. With only 1000 made they are going fast. Get them here.
