Our first vintage frames of the week. We love old shades and we’ve been seeing these models for decades. Famous for fans like Kool Moe Dee, Miles Davis and of course the queen of wrap-arounds, Yoko Ono, the Porsche 5620s are some of the first “celebrity only” frames ever recorded.
In a total futuristic nod, these enormous frames have a strange classic feel, despite their flamboyant appearance. The lens is bolted in place with a series of screws running around the frame, which only adds to their post apocalyptic image. Low temples and thin arms make these 5620s truly iconic.
