Vintage Carrera Boeing 5701

These days a vintage rediscover is exciting as a fresh new design. One of our favourite vintage frames purveyors M Vintage Sunglasses just restocked this massive pair of shades from Carrera. Referred to as the 5701 model, these legendary sunglasses are from the 1980s collaboration between Carrera and airplane manufacturer, Boeing as a pilot oriented design.

The almost rimless design devotes much of it’s body to it’s massive lenses. A solid metallic bridge holds the glass in place with rivets. Completed with a airline inspired arms and both Boeing and Carrera’s logos on the arms and lenses, these retro beauts are one of the most coveted models of all time. Get them through M Vintage.
